The mission of our middle and high school band program is to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive musical community that inspires excellence, creativity, and lifelong appreciation for the art of music. 9th-12th Grade Band

For students who are passionate about music, Avery County Bands is the perfect place to be. We have a wide range of performance experiences and opportunities that cater to all students, regardless of their level of musical experience. 6th - 8th Grade Band

In the Avery Middle School band program, middle school students have the opportunity to learn how to read music, play an instrument, and perform fun and exciting tunes like Jurassic Park, Avengers Theme, Polar Express, The Monster Mash, and more! Our program offers a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where students can explore music and gain proficiency on a wide range of instruments.
